Dr. Dominique James is an educator with over ten years of experience in the field. She has always had a passion for teaching and learning and began working with young children early on as an afterschool tutor, taught vacation bible school classes, and mentored young students during summer camp programs. As a military spouse, Dr. James considers it an honor to not only advocate for her own military kids, but for military children everywhere. She is the founder of Dandelion Kids LLC, whose mission is to support military kids as they bloom where planted. Dr. James studied Elementary Education at Winthrop University, obtained a Master of Education Degree from Columbia College, and holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management from Capella University. Her husband currently serves in the United States Air Force, and they have two sons. Dr. James is a native of Bennettsville, South Carolina.
